Okay, so if I did not have enough on my plate this year, I had to add one more thing to the mix. My mom was turning 50. Dealing with Carson's recovery, finals in school, Carson's fourth birthday party, work, and everything else I'm dealing with, I knew I had to make time to do something special for my mom. She has been by my side for the last 26 years of my life. Knowing what I was going to do for her was a struggle. You cant buy the women anything..she has everything she wants. You cant throw her a party at a bar because she isn't a bar person. However, her all time favorite...Spending time with her best girlfriends. Ding Ding Ding, the idea clicked. I threw my mom a 50th surprise birthday party with all her favorite girlfriends. My dad and I even surprised her with flying her best friend in from Indiana. Mom I love you, I cant believe I kept a secret from you! I had a blast at your party, and seeing you be surprised was the best gift in the world. You are my best friend, and I thank you sooo much for everything. You are always there for me at all times and even if you don't approve you still stick by me.
